GROWTH HORMONE–RELEASING HORMONE (GHRH) ADMINISTRATION IN MILD COGNITIVE IMPAIRMENT MODULATES PHOSPHORYLATED TAU IN NEURONALLY-DERIVED EXOSOMES

      We previously reported cognition-enhancing effects of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) in mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and in healthy older adults. The potent effects of GHRH and other growth factors decline with advancing age and may be mechanistically involved in Alzheimer’s disease (AD) pathogenesis. One mechanism by which GHRH has cognition-enhancing effects may involve modulation and development of AD neuropathology.
