REGIONAL ASYMMETRIES IN AMYLOID AND TAU GO TOGETHER: EVIDENCE FOR LOCAL INTERACTION

      Autopsy studies suggested that amyloid and tau pathology are not always symmetrically distributed. Amyloid is believed to be associated with spreading of tau, indicating that both pathologies interact. We set out to investigate the hypothesis that if pathologies interact locally, then regional asymmetries of the two pathologies should be biased in the same direction.
