PREDICTING RESILIENCY AGAINST AMYLOID-BETA DEPOSITION, COGNITIVE IMPAIRMENT, AND THEIR COMBINATION IN THE OLDEST-OLD

Understanding resiliency to Alzheimer pathology and to cognitive impairment in advanced aging is of great interest. We investigated potential long-term predictors of amyloid-beta (Aβ) status and cognitive status in a sub-sample of the Ginkgo Evaluation of Memory Study (GEMS; 2000-2008) with subsequent amyloid imaging (2010 or later) and mean clinical follow-up of 14 years.
