COMPARISON OF COGNITIVE FUNCTIONING AS MEASURED BY THE COGNITO BATTERY AND PAPER-PENCIL TESTS IN AN INDIAN LONGITUDINAL STUDY ON URBAN ELDERLY

      Computerized cognitive testing has gained popularity in the last two decades due to its ease of administration and less labor intensive nature. Computerized Assessment of Information Processing battery- COGNITO (Ritchie et al, 2014) is a validated tool used to assess neurocognitive functions on adults in western settings. Considering the overall Indian digital literacy rate among those above the age of 60 is 0.030%, (National Sample Survey, 2015), it is important to examine whether computerized cognitive battery is applicable in India. Hence we aimed to examine the relation between Computerized Assessment of Information Processing Battery (COGNITO) and traditional paper-pencil Cognitive assessments
