ANTEMORTEM VOLUME LOSS MIRRORS TDP43 STAGING IN NON-FTLD OLDER ADULTS

In conditions distinct from the frontotemporal lobar degenerations (FTLD), the transactive response DNA-binding protein of 43 kDa (TDP-43) appears to follow a staging scheme that involves first the amygdala, followed by the entorhinal cortex and hippocampus, and then neocortical regions. In the present study, we aimed at providing a better understanding of the link between TDP-43 staging and gray matter volume in a cohort of non-FTLD subjects.
