IRON, NEURODEGENERATION, TAU, AND AMYLOID IN PATIENTS WITH ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE

      Iron accumulation in the brain has been associated with neurodegeneration, neuritic plaques and neurofibrillary tangles. MRI Quantitative susceptibility mapping (QSM) has the potential to measure iron in vivo. We explored the relationship between QSM, neurodegeneration, tau and amyloid.
