In-vivo detection of beta-amyloid (Aβ) plaques using PET is incorporated in contemporary
diagnostic criteria for Alzheimer’s disease (AD), and in many clinical trials. However,
standardisation of results is challenging due to the myriad tracers, scanners and
analysis techniques. The Centiloid Project (http://www.gaain.org/centiloid-project) proposed a common scale that allows for transformation of measurements, aiding cross-study
comparisons. We calibrated our in-house processing pipeline based on PET/MR data “Insight46”
to the Centiloid (CL) scale and applied it to a large cohort of healthy individuals.
