ENGAGEMENT OF MULTI-STAKEHOLDERS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF VIETNAM’S NATIONAL DEMENTIA PLAN: LESSONS LEARNED FROM THE FIRST VIETNAM NATIONAL DEMENTIA CONFERENCE

      Dementia is an emerging public health problem in Vietnam. There are 660000 Vietnamese people estimated to be living with dementia, with resultant dementia related costs of US$ 960 million. Lack of dementia awareness among stakeholders and a national plan for action, however, is an important gap that needs addressing.
